Calling abroad from a mobile phone

You can now make cheaper calls abroad from your mobile phone using 1100*. The only thing you need to do is use the 1100 dialling code instead of 00 when you call abroad. Unbelievably simple, and you save 25% on average. All calls go through Síminn’s exchanges.

Example of a 1100 phone call

Use the code 1100 before the country code, e.g. for Great Britain, enter 110044 instead of 0044 or +44, then enter the phone number.
The 1100 discount is available for both Frelsi and subscriptions.
*Phone calls using 1100 are always cheaper if you are calling a foreign landline from a Frelsi phone. In some cases, calls to foreign mobile phones may not be cheaper when using 1100, as the Frelsi pricelist does not add a mobile phone surcharge.
