High-definition television (HDTV)
Síminn now offers customers the capability to see television programmes in high-definition (HDTV). HD is a new technology that uses a television broadcasting path through ADSL to broadcast television signals in higher resolutions than those available on digital television.

We are now offering our customers a basic high-definition package for ISK 535 per month. The basic package gives you access to the introductory channel, which initially will be Discovery Channel. More high-definition channels will be added in the coming months.
English Premier League football in HD
Síminn offers English Premier League football in high definition. The monthly charge for English football in high definition is shown on 365 Media pricelists. When you order Sýn 2 in high definition from 365 Media, Síminn Television will give you with a free high-definition introductory channel. The introductory channel is currently Discovery Channel.
